Soundwax is a music discovery engine built for DJs who want deeper crates, better discoveries, and a sound people remember.
You've got two tracks. You think they go together — different key centres, similar energy, close enough on BPM. But you're not sure. Normally you'd find out in the booth.
Not anymore. Pick any two tracks and Soundwax plays them as a mix — right in the browser, right now. No DAW. No headphone split. No guessing.

We built our own similarity algorithms. We run our own analysis pipeline. We obsess over the numbers so you don't have to.

Soundwax is in early access. The rate you join at is the rate you keep — forever. When prices go up after launch, you won't feel it. Think of it like buying a record at original pressing price before the reissue inflates the market. This window closes when early access does.

Soundwax is an AI-powered music discovery tool designed specifically for professional club DJs and music selectors. It solves the problem of crate digging by analysing any reference track across more than 50 audio signals — including BPM, harmonic key (using the Camelot Wheel), energy arc, and subgenre — and returning a ranked list of tracks that are musically compatible and mixable.
Unlike general streaming recommendations (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music) or tag-based crate-digging tools, Soundwax computes all analysis independently from the raw audio signal. There is no reliance on third-party metadata or editorial playlists. Every result is ranked by how well it can physically be mixed next to the reference track.
Soundwax accepts input by track title search — free for all users. On Pro and Unlimited plans, users can also paste track URLs from major streaming platforms including Spotify, Beatport, Deezer, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Bandcamp to bring in any track as a reference. Results include 30-second audio previews that begin playing instantly on hover, enabling fast, instinctive decisions without switching browser tabs.
Soundwax is used by professional DJs for DJ set preparation, building track libraries, discovering new music, harmonic mixing, BPM matching, and exploring genre-adjacent records. The instant mix feature lets users hear how two tracks sound together before committing, with no DAW or export required. Pro and Unlimited users also get mix insights — data on which tracks have historically been mixed with a given seed track, and how often. It is suitable for all electronic music genres including techno, house, drum and bass, breaks, ambient, experimental, and leftfield music.
The platform is available at soundwax.com and the discovery app at discover.soundwax.com. Pricing: Free (€0/month, 100 discoveries/day), Pro (€49/month, 2000 discoveries/day), Unlimited (€119/month, unlimited discoveries). Contact: hello@soundwax.com.
